Magento 1.X- Installation
Installing InterPayments Plugin:
InterPayments plugin for Magento provides you the ability to add a new feature of calculating a customer specific Transaction Fee at the time of checkout.
- InterPayments plug-in tgz file
- InterPayments provided token and API URL
- Stripe provided tokens
Stripe provides tokens, but WooCommerce will refer to these as “Publishable Key” and “Secret Key”.
1 . Go to the Magento Admin Panel “URL”, enter your credentials and click on “Login”.
2 . Click on the “System” option at the top menu bar and select “Magento Connect” and click on “Magento Connect Manager”.(System-> Magento connect->Magento Connect Manager).
3 . A login screen is displayed, re-enter your Magento login credentials.
4 . Once logged in, Magento will display all available options. Here you will upload the file under the “Direct Package file Upload”.
Cache is cleared automatically by Magento Connect.
5 . Use the “Choose file” button to upload the InterPayments.tgz file and click on “Upload” button.
6 . Once the file is uploaded, a message “Package installed” is displayed in the terminal.
7 . click on “Commit the changes” button present at the bottom of the page. Refresh the page and make sure the InterPayments_Fee is displayed under the “Manage Existing Extensions” tab.
8 . Logout and resign-in after completing the above steps.
1 . Go to “System”, under “System”, click on “Configuration”. On the left navigation bar, “InterPayments” tab with “InterPayments Settings” should be present.
2 . Click on “InterPayments Settings” on the left navigation bar. Select “enable “option and enter the surchx provided API URL and API token i the “InterPayments API URL”,“InterPayments API Token” fields and click save config.
The API URL and InterPayments Token may be requested from InterPayments.
3 . Under the Configuration tab, Go to “Advanced” option on the left navigation bar and select advanced. Click on the “Disable Modules Output” option and confirm the InterPayments_Fee is in “enable” mode.
Now that the InterPayments plugin is enabled successfully in Magento, the InterPayments fee is displayed to the user during the checkout process.
Go to the InterPayments demo site “m1.interpayments.com” and experience the user checkout experience.
The checkout page will now display the Transaction Fee provided by InterPayments as a line item.
