WooCommerce with [Authorize.net]
Installing SurchX Plugin:
Access to your web store’s WordPress Admin.
SurchX plug-in zip file Click Here to download
SurchX provided token.
The SurchX token is provided via Email once the (SLA)Software License Agreement is signed after the registration .
- Authorize.net provided tokens
The tokens are provided by Authorize.net.WooCommerce will refer to these as “Publishable Key” and “Secret Key”.
1 . Log into your web store’s WordPress admin using an administrator’s login credentials.
2 . On the left-navigation bar, click on “Plugins”.
3 . On the “Add Plugins” screen, Click the “Add New” button on the top of the page.
4 . Click the “Upload Plugin” button on the top of the page.
5 . Click the “Choose File” button and select the zip file containing the SurchX plug-in.
6 . On the “Add Plugins” screen, Click “Install Now”.
7 . Once the plugin is successfully installed, click the “Activate Plugin” button.
8 . The plugin “SurchX for WooCommerce with Authorize.net” is displayed with the other installed plugins.
9 . Click on the plugin name and make sure “SurchX for WooCommerce with Authorize.net is enabled”.
After the SurchX plugin for Authorize.net is successfully installed, we will need to configure a few fields in order to allow access to the payment API’s.
1 . On the left-navigation bar, click on “Plugins”.
2 . On the “Plugins” page, scroll down to “Surchx for WooCommerce with Authorize.net”.
3 . Click on “Settings” and then click on the “Manage” button.
Complete all fields below :
a) Enable/Disable - Enable Authorize.Net Gateway.
b) Title - This text will be displayed to your customer during the payment selection process.
c) Description - This text will be displayed as additional information above the credit card information entry section.
d) Mode - Will allow you to select the test or production mode.
e) Authorize.net provided Information - LoginID, Transaction Key.
f) Test SurchX Token - SurchX will provide a test token.
g) Live SurchX Token - SurchX will provide a production token.
4 . Confirm the checkbox for the field “Enable/Disable” is enabled.
- Select the sandbox mode.
- Fill in the Test SurchX Token field
- Save changes.
After saving the changes. You will be prompted with a test token expiration date (The SurchX test token is only valid for 60 Days)
along with a plugin Live Date (The date is generated based on the Software Licence Agreement signed date.You will be able to surcharge
your customers only from the Plugin Live date to stay compliant).
Also you will see a Transaction Fee(SurchX calculated fee) added as a line item in your checkout page.
- Select the production mode.
- Fill in the Live SurchX Token field
- Save changes.
Note : After saving the changes. You will be prompted with a plugin Live Date (The date is generated based on the Software Licence Agreement(SLA) signed date. You will ONLY be able to surcharge your customers only from the Plugin Live date to stay compliant).
On the checkout page you will see a Transaction Fee(SurchX calculated fee) added as a line item.
Until the live date , you will only see $0.00 Transaction Fee in your checkout page.
Installation and Configuration is done!
After the Plugin Go Live Date , your customers can see the Transaction Fee line item in the checkout page.
