Merchant authorization to use the API
Authorization for use of the InterPayments surcharging solution API is done using JSON Web Tokens (JWT). A merchant will receive a JWT authorization token from InterPayments when the merchant configuration has been completed.
The merchant includes the token in the header of each API POST call to identify and authorize the merchant for access to the surcharging solution.
Include an authorization http header with a bearer token for API authorization. Any browser based API calls should use this form of authorization.
httpHeader should use the following format:
Authorization: Bearer eyJ0eXAiOiJKV1QiLCJhbGciOiJIUzI1NiJ9.eyJleHAiOjE1NzE3Mjc2MDAsImlhdCI6MTU2NjUwMDMxOCwibmFtZSI6IkhVR08gRE9DUyAtKERPTlQgREVMRVRFKSIsImlkIjoiNjVlZmJiMjMtNGY4Zi00M2ZjLTk1MDQtODk4YThjZWQzNWNkIn0.ehlu051arjjraE8E5PP8WBM_YBfS2r4CPoS_V_D8hog
